Letter from the Co-founder

I love autumn. The changing of any of the seasons reminds me of the wholeness of life, the inevitability of change and the importance of being present and in the moment with the cycles of my life and my world.

That said, I have a particular affinity for autumn. In the fall, it seems to me that all of life takes a long exhale and just lets go. The lushness of summer fruit fades into harvest. The trees dress themselves in glorious colors and then drop their leaves gently onto the earth. The days grow shorter and the light becomes more golden.

These changes remind me that autumn is a time of letting go and call me to look into my life.   What am I holding on to that no longer serves me?  Where has my heart become a little hard?  A little closed?  Where do I need to let go, surrender, soften? I invite you to take a deep breath and consider these questions gently for yourself.

I find that staying connected to the seasons and to the natural and ever-changing world around me helps me remain grounded, without getting swept away in the winds of change or by what I witness on the evening news. I grow rooted and centered and walk with my heart at peace.

May we all encourage each other in this way – that with all of life’s challenges and uncertainties, there is still peace and wholeness available in each and every moment.

Karen Kimsey-House

CTI's Co-Active Network has provided a valuable resource to our students since its inception in 2004. It has provided a platform for networking with other coaches with similar interests and provided rich discussion forums on niche coaching subjects and general coaching topics. With over 24,000 members, it has become a key value add for our students. We’re excited about our current plans to upgrade the Network in order to provide a more contemporary user experience.

Significant progress has been made to date - the foundations have been laid to ensure the new network allows for a richer level of interaction between members, more focused discussions, an improved Find a Coach function, and more.

Between November 10-21, 2014 we are going to be Beta testing the Network. The Beta test is an essential part of the development process, allowing us to identify potential glitches before our anticipated launch in February 2015.

We need your help!

We are looking for the following assistance to ensure our Beta test is as thorough as possible:

Beta Testers We need Beta testers to give 5-8 hours of their time during November (Nov. 10-21). This is your chance to get a sneak peek at what we've been building and help shape the Co-Active Network’s further development. The time commitment will not be fixed. You will be free to engage with the new site whenever you want during the 2-week testing period. Contact Nick Kettles to sign up -

Group Leaders We are also interested in finding new group leaders to breathe new life into many of the groups we'll be migrating from the old Network, as well as newer, more clearly defined, groups. This is an amazing opportunity to help launch the new Co-Active Network and for you to individually play a part in deepening our community's understanding of the many different interests and passions within the coaching profession. Like the Beta testers, you will be expected to take part in the testing period during November, with a commitment of 5-8 hours. Click here to register your interest in becoming a group leader and in which category.

If you have any queries, please contact Nick Kettles, CTI Community Director,
