Born in the UK and raised in Canada, Sonal is the daughter of Indian immigrants who grew up in East Africa. The blend of these worlds sparked a deep appreciation and interest in different cultures. Sonal’s professional journey began in healthcare as a community pharmacist over two decades ago. Prior to transitioning to executive coaching and facilitating leadership development programs, she spent 14 years in increasingly senior roles in sales, marketing, and strategy in the pharmaceutical industry.

Sonal holds an International Master in Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Toronto.

Sonal has worked with senior leaders in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, tech, oil and gas, automotive, financial services, insurance, retail, and education.

Sonal’s areas of focus include Leadership Development, Inclusive Leadership, Resilience, Communication, Team Effectiveness, and Conflict Management. She is certified in The Leadership Circle Profile 360 assessment; Everything DiSC; Lencioni’s Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team, Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI), and the Hogan Assessment (HPI, HDS, MVPI). She is also trained in CRR Global’s Advanced Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC).

Sonal loves to travel and speaks multiple languages. In her spare time, she can be found playing guitar or piano and singing in an entertaining pop choir.
