CO-ACTIVE® TRAINING INSTITUTE

Let's create a new language of leadership, together!

For the last 30 years the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) has been offering the gold-standard in coach training and leadership development for individuals and organizations. Now we are creating a new language of leadership. Let's do this together.

Failure of Institutional Leadership Inspires New Wave of Individual Leadership

Sadly, many of our institutions are failing to deliver on their promise. Government, education, and health care typically receive low satisfaction ratings. In fact, over the past 25 years, the percentage of Americans with a great deal or quite a lot of confidence in the presidency has dropped from 72% to 36%, while the percentage of those with a great deal or quite a lot of confidence in Congress has dropped from 30% to under 10%, according to Gallup polls.*

However, I am encouraged by the rise in grassroots efforts to take on issues directly instead of complaining, blaming or continuing to depend on others. The failure of institutional leadership is inspiring a new wave of individual leadership.

At CTI, we hold every person as a leader, one who is willing to take responsibility for their world. Each person decides the scope of their world: some choose closer to home, and some choose to play on a wide stage. In any case, they are stepping up to take responsibility.

We applaud these courageous individuals and want them to be successful. The best way we know how to support their leadership is through Co-Active coaching conversations. Co-Active coaching is real-time, targeted leadership development. It is common for organizations to invest in this kind of development for their leaders, and now we see it is time for anyone who wants to be a leader in their community to be afforded this kind of support as well.

Co-Active coaching is leadership development. If you are a coach, this is the context and the calling for your profession. If you are an individual who is fed up with institutions failing our people and you are willing to step into leadership, then find a coach who will be your ally — one who will challenge you to stay on purpose and realize your vision for a better world, whether that world is your family, your school, your community or beyond.
