Marte Jannecken Birkemo Aarsland has been a certified professional Co-Active coach ( CPCC) since 2006, and hold the Professional Certified Coach (PCC ) from the international Coach Federation since 2011. She is a faculty member of CTI, Coaches Training Institute (US) where she is training new coaches from all over the world. In addition to being a coach and a mentor, Marte is also a Physiotherapist, Acupuncturist, Pilates Instructor and , Director and Owner of a Private Health Clinic in Stavanger, Norway. She has spent over thirty years working in the public and private health industry, gaining experience from working with a wide range of health-related problems, including a variety of psycho-somatic conditions. Her ability to meet people with adequate treatment, as well as supporting them psychologically, has been a great benefit for her clients. She is regarded as a warm, dedicated, and enthusiastic and evocative therapist/leader. Marte has also supervised colleagues, and spoken at several scientific and health- related seminars at both national and international levels .Her work also includes teaching and leading groups of people on the subject of body–mind awareness and organizing and leading various related training groups. Additionally, she has led coaching introductions to businesses, and co-led parts of leadership programs aimed at the corporate world. Marte specializes in bringing greater awareness to the interaction between body and mind, thoughts, emotions, and behavior . As a practitioner she approaches her clients with a belief in a human being capacity to expand their awareness of the complex nature of this interaction . Since 2012 Marte has studied the teachings of Ancient Earth Wisdom at The Ehama Institute in New Mexico. She completed ELM (Evocative Leadership Mastery) in March 2015, a program for visionaries and experienced leaders who are inspired to make a positive and lasting difference in their groups, organizations and the world. Evocative Leadership Mastery is a strong, deeply integrated leadership framework, both in philosophy and practice. It brings an enduring wisdom to the challenges many of us face as leaders.
