Gail Barker

Over 20 years ago, Gail found herself in an introductory Co-Active Coaching course and immediately knew that the Co-Active model would play an integral part in her life going forward. Having followed a long and winding road, Gail is now the Associate Director, Coach Training Pathway at CTI. In this role she has oversight of our global leader body, working with the Faculty Development Team to recruit, orient, train and support all those who lead various aspects of Co-Active curriculum. Gail is also a Front of Room Leader for CTI, savouring the opportunities she has to grow leaders in their understanding of our Co-Active model and work. Additionally, Gail has a private coaching practice through which she supports clients to discover and create their own meaningful experiences of success. At the heart of this work, Gail’s focus is supporting leaders and aspiring leaders to build strong, respectful, inclusive teams in which honesty, vulnerability and bravery are valued and honored. She is deeply committed to holding a lens of diversity, equity and inclusion with a view to creating spheres of belonging for all.

Gail is the author of What Matters Now: Lessons on Living with Ease (published 2015), and former host of the radio show Your Life, Your Way which aired on 106.9, The X for 10 years.

When Gail isn’t working, she can be found reading a book or two, unleashing her creativity through cooking, baking or crocheting, and enjoying deep conversation with friends and family while walking on a beach or enjoying a cup of tea.
