Joanna Cotton has a passion for helping leaders and organizations thrive in an increasingly complex world. She has over 30 years of experience developing and leading high performing teams in sales, marketing, product innovation, and strategy. Before transitioning into leadership development in 2016, she held successive executive positions at several multi-national publishing companies, as well as the world’s largest privately held international education company. She serves as a faculty member with the Co-Active Training Institute, and as a board member and coach for The Women’s Impact Alliance, a non-profit organization devoted to accelerating the growth and development of women leaders in social and environmental change around the world.
Joanna loves working with senior leaders as well asleaders who have recently been promoted or entered into a new role. She particularly enjoys working with female leaders who want to step more fully into their authenticity.
Joanna creates a strong alliance with her clients, empowering them to deepen their insight, set clear goals and execute on action plans. She empowers a safe and courageous space for her clients to explore their unique values, strengths and limiting beliefs. Her clients appreciate her genuine and approachable style that promotes both reflection and action. She has an ability to get to the heart of what’s going on “below the surface” that may have been holding leaders and teams back from reaching their full potential and maximizing their performance.
After living and thriving in downtown Toronto since 1990, Joanna, her husband, and their dog, have recently re-located to Grey County where gardening, cooking, horseback riding and hiking have become some her favourite hobbies. She is the mother of 2 adult children, and nothing brings her more pleasure than having family and friends gathered around the table.
