With a background in Psychology (MSc) and Organisation Studies (PhD), Ursula has been working as a leadership developer and coach since 2005. She holds the credential Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coaching Federation. In 2009, she became a faculty member of the Co-active Training Institute as a coach trainer and more recently as an individual supervisor for coaching students in the certification program.

Ursula has more than three decades of work experience in Dutch and German Higher Education. She held both academic and administrative leadership positions in the field of leadership development and education innovation.

In 2022, she decided to create more spaciousness in her life and quit her university position to solely work as a free-lance coach, coach trainer, and leadership developer. Ursula is based in the South of Germany and coaches in English, German, and Dutch.Her coaching is characterised by humor, depth, and openness to surprise. With her clients, she creates a space for courageous conversations that challenge limiting beliefs, explore deep longings and evoke a sense of increased possibility.

Next to coaching and exploring the landscapes of the soul, Ursula loves to explore the world and to live life off the beaten track together with her husband, a travel photographer and artist.
