We want you to be completely comfortable with your decision to embark on Co-Active® Training Journey. We are so confident in our ability to deliver you value that if you are not completely satisfied after completing all three days of either Co-Active® Fundamentals or Co-Active® Leadership Experience, we will send you a full refund, including your $250 registration fee and cancel your course package registration without penalty.

Refunds must be requested in writing within 30 days of the course completion.

Cancellations & Refunds

If you choose to cancel your registration in a course prior to the start of the course, you will receive a full refund, excluding a $250 non-refundable registration fee. Written notifications to cancel a course must be received prior to the course start date.

If you do not notify us in advance that you will be unable to attend a course for which you are registered, you will forfeit the full course fee.

Notice of Cancellation/Withdrawal and Refunds

Written notice of cancellation shall be effective on the date the letter of cancellation/withdrawal is received by CTI. If cancellation/withdrawal is by email, cancellation shall take place on the date an email acknowledgment is sent by CTI. Refunds, less any non-refundable registration fee will be made within 45 days following the receipt of written requests.

Buyers Right to Cancel

Subject to “Refund Policies” below, you have a right to cancel your enrollment and receive a refund by delivering a written notice by postal service or email:

You may not cancel orally or by telephoning CTI, nor by choosing to not attend a course for which you are registered (unless expressly allowed by law).

CTI’S Right to Cancel

In rare cases, CTI may choose to cancel/reschedule courses at its discretion. CTI will not be responsible for costs that may be incurred by students as a result of such cancellations or rescheduling.

Right of Refusal

CTI reserves the right to refuse a student participation in courses and/or programs. In addition, CTI, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to remove from a classroom a student who is negatively impacting other students and/or the learning environment.

Intellectual Property

CTI students may use materials presented during their course work, including materials on CTI’s Learning Hub, only in the context of their coursework or in performing services directly on a one on one basis for their coaching clients provided that they indicate it is copyrighted CTI material. If a client is provided with any materials the CTI student must inform the client that the materials may not be re-used or reproduced and must indicate that all CTI materials are proprietary intellectual property of CTI. Any use of CTI’s materials or other intellectual property beyond one-to-one coaching is not allowed without the specific written approval of CTI.

Privacy

CTI will need to obtain your personal and demographic information in order to secure your registration and to comply with applicable legal requirements. To register for a course, you must provide contact information (e.g. name, email and mailing address) and financial information (e.g. credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for government reporting, billing purposes and to fulfill your registration needs. If we have trouble processing an order or a payment, we will use this information to contact you.

Sharing of Information

CTI will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, except as required by law and outlined herein. We do share Names, City, State, Zip, Phone Numbers, and Emails via a Course Roster supplied to your Course Leaders, Course Assistants, and fellow students in order to connect outside of the course room and to further develop your coaching skills. It is strictly not permitted to solicit other students in your course for personal marketing or solicitation of any kind.

California

Co-Active® Training Institute (“CTI”) is a privately-owned corporation licensed with the Bureau for Private Post-secondary Education in the State of California. Licensing requires meeting specified minimum standards imposed by California for licensed schools on the basis of our written application. You will receive an enrollment agreement that details the full refund and program policies for California.

You have the right to cancel your enrollment agreement and obtain a refund of charges paid through attendance at the first class, or the seventh day after enrollment, whichever is later, pursuant with the refund policy using one of the following methods:

If you have obtained a loan to pay for your course(s), you are responsible to repay the full amount of the loan plus interest, less the amount of any refund. If you received federal student financial aid funds, you are entitled to a refund of moneys not paid from federal student financial aid program funds. If you are eligible for a loan guaranteed by the federal or state government and default on the loan, both of the following may occur: (1) The federal or state government or a loan guarantee agency may take action against the student, including applying any income tax refund to which the person is entitled to reduce the balance owed on the loan. (2) The student may not be eligible for any other federal student financial aid at another institution or other government assistance until the loan is repaid.

Refund Policy

Students not accepted by CTI and students who cancel this contract within the later of seven (7) calendar days after enrollment or attendance at the first class session are entitled to a full refund of all tuition and fees paid minus the $250 non-refundable registration fee. Students may withdraw from a course either by written notice or by conduct, including, but not necessarily limited to a student’s lack of attendance as set forth in withdrawal policy in the course catalog. In the case of students withdrawing after commencement of classes, CTI will retain the $250 registration fee plus a prorated percentage of tuition and fees, which is based on the last date of recorded attendance until 60 percent of the period of attendance has been reached, after which point no refund will be given. All refunds will be made within 45 days of a student’s cancellation or withdrawal.

The official date of termination or withdrawal of a student shall be determined in the following manner:

  1. The date on which CTI receives notice of the student’s intention to discontinue the training program; or
  2. The date on which the student violates published school policy, which provides for termination.
  3. Should a student fail to return from a excused leave of absence, the effective date of termination for a student on an extended leave of absence or a leave of absence is the earlier of the date CTI determines the student is not returning or the day following the expected return date.

CTI shall provide a full refund if education service is discontinued by CTI, except if CTI ceases operation.

The policy for granting credit for previous training shall not impact the refund policy.

Registrations

All registrations are secured on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. Your registration in a course is based upon the receipt of payment for both the registration fee and the balance due.

We accept payment by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express *except for UK courses, and Discover), check, ACH and wire transfer. Your full balance for the course is due no later than 21 days prior to the course start date. Your signature on the In-Course Registration Offer Form authorizes CTI to automatically charge your credit card for the outstanding balance 21 days prior to the course date. CTI will notify you if an automatic charge to your credit card is not approved. Your response and payment is required within 5 business days of our notification; if not, your requested space in the course(s) may be released.

If you are enrolled in a discounted package and payment has not been received by the start of the course, the discounted package price is forfeited and the current à la carte course price will be charged for that course.

Transfer & Fees

You may transfer from one course or series of course date(s) to another one time without penalty, provided the request is made prior to twenty-one (21) days before the course start date. Subsequent transfers, or transfers that occur less than 21 days before the course start date are assessed a non-refundable $175 fee.

To retain your course pricing, all your courses must be completed within two years of the date of your registration for a course or package. If you do not complete your courses within the two year window, you will forfeit the $250 registration fee and future attendance will be subject to current course pricing.

Attendance & Tardiness

If any time before or during your course you are going to be late or unable to attend, please call 1-800-691-6008, Option 3, so we can inform the course leaders.

A participant missing more than one (1) hour of the course will be required to reschedule in order to get credit for the course. The fee to reschedule a course is $175.

Venue Policies (In-Person Programs)

Venue details are provided at the time of registration and will be sent in email.

  • If you plan to drive to the venue, you are responsible for any parking fees.
  • CTI is not responsible for any hotel fees, rates are not guaranteed, and rates are subject to change.
  • If a venue location is listed as “TBA – To Be Announced,” it means the venue location has not been finalized. We will email you the updated location details as soon the venue has been finalized.
  • During the course, please be aware that there may be those who are chemically sensitive to fragrances, for example perfume, aftershave and similar products. Please refrain from wearing scented products during the course.

Certification Program

Registration & Application

If your registration includes the Certification program, you must select the month you will begin the Certification program to formally register for Certification.

You will be eligible to submit your Certification Application upon completion of your Process course. You must begin your Certification Program within 12 months of completing your Synergy course. A completed application, including your Certified Coach’s name, is due no later than the 1st of the month prior to the chosen month to begin the program (e.g. no later than May 1 for a June start). Your selected start date is not confirmed until you have received a confirmation email.

Payment

Your remaining Certification balance is due as follows: the first of five automatic credit card charges will take place the 1st business day of the month starting the month you begin your program and approximately every 30 days thereafter. If you do not already have a credit card on file, you must provide credit card information when you submit your online application.

Transfers

You may transfer from one start month to another one time without penalty, provided the request is made at least 60 days prior to your selected start month. Subsequent transfers, or transfers that occur less than 60 days from your selected start month are assessed a non-refundable $175 transfer fee. Certification program transfers are not allowed once you are confirmed into a Certification pod.
