Conrad Hayter

Conrad Hayter is a leadership coach, facilitator, and entrepreneur who cultivates people, plants, and ideas. He delights in taking focused, intentional action to awaken passion in others and better our world. Growing up on his family’s farm, he developed a deep love of nature, meaningful work, and improvisation—qualities that now infuse his approach to leadership and coaching.

A decorated veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Conrad was stationed in California and deployed around the world installing navigation equipment to
guide pilots to their destinations. From the island of Kwajalein in the South Pacific to the sands of Qatar, he sought to learn from others, experience new cultures, and build tight-knit, purpose-driven communities.

Conrad’s coaching approach blends presence, curiosity, and practical action to help leaders grow with clarity and confidence. Grounded in the Co-Active models, his work invites leaders and teams to deepen connection—to themselves, each other, and the environments they steward. He believes that leadership is cultivated through relationship and reflection, and that growth happens when we are both challenged and supported.
Drawing inspiration from the natural world, he helps clients root their leadership in authenticity, courage, and care.

With more than a decade of entrepreneurship and small-business experience, Conrad understands the complexities of leading teams, managing growth, and staying aligned with purpose. As a faculty member with the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) and founder of The Windsock Group, he partners with individuals and organizations to strengthen collaboration, build trust, and create environments where people can thrive. His clients include leaders from education, business, and the social impact sector who are seeking to lead with intention and humanity.

Conrad holds advanced degrees in Systems Electronics, Agri-business Management, and Supply Chain Management, and brings a systems-thinking perspective to all aspects of his work. He is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation, a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), and a faculty member at CTI. In addition, he serves as CEO at Nature’s Select, a biological lawn care company committed to stewardship and sustainable growth. These experiences inform a coaching practice that is both grounded and expansive—one that honors practical realities while inviting deeper connection to what truly matters.
