Cai is a Front of Room Leader of the Core Coaching Curriculum at CTI. In his coaching practice, Cai helps leaders and teams find and fulfill their purpose with clarity, connection, courage, and compassion. Cai is known for his infectious energy and enthusiasm that inspires clients to rise up, meet their challenges, and create positive and outsized impact at work, at home, and in the world.
Cai has 30+ of industry experience leading large-scale change, running small businesses, as well as coaching and mentoring employees, intact and virtual teams, and colleagues. Cai has coached and led Agile transformations and large-scale technology initiatives at companies like Addison-Wesley Publishing, Hewlett-Packard Company, and Nike.
Cai holds a Master in Business Administration from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from the University of California, Davis.
One of Cai’s key areas of expertise is teaching and coaching with the Enneagram, a personality system that helps people understand why they do the things they do, and provides a map for transformation. Cai combines the Enneagram with his expertise in leadership and team coaching to help clients drive meaningful and sustainable change.
Cai lives in beautiful Portland, Oregon with his wife Monique (who is also a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach) and their three cats. Cai enjoys cycling, hiking, learning jazz guitar, and busting out the karaoke machine every now and then.
