I am a UK-based leadership coach. I have the highest level of coaching qualification, being one of only a few hundred people worldwide to achieve a Master Certified Coach (MCC) accreditation from the International Coach Federation (ICF). I am a senior faculty member and Front of Room Leader for Co-Active Training Institute where I have trained thousands of people to become professional coaches over the last 20 years.
My career began in journalism then PR where I found my interest and skill lay in preparing leaders to have a greater impact from a place of authenticity when giving press interviews. As a result of this I re-trained as a professional coach and became an in-house HR specialist coaching people in their career development and supporting employees at risk of redundancy.
I left to set up my own coaching business which I have run ever since. I work one to one with executives, as well as running experiential training programmes for groups internationally across many sectors, both in person and online. A particular passion for me is working with people to develop their leadership confidence. As a result of this I created workshops for young people in Cambodia and India designed to help them boost their confidence, manage their mindset and support each other with basic coaching skills.
In terms of coaching style I create a safe space where leaders can discover more about themselves and what’s most important to them. I am passionate about getting people in touch with their brilliance so that they can engage with their work and life with renewed passion, energy and enthusiasm.
I enjoy training leaders in coaching skills and seeing them light up as they experience the difference that coaching skills can make to their leadership and empowering their teams.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, running, beach walking with my dog and the peaceful balance of yoga and meditation.
