Co-Active Training Institute Launches Distributed Leadership Course

Co-Active Training Institute today announced the launch of Co-Active Leadership: Distributed Leadership, a new course designed to develop leadership capacity across every level of an organization. The course is open for enrollment. It is designed for professionals, managers, and organizations focused on leadership development, distinct from Co-Active Training Institute’s coach training pathway.

As artificial intelligence takes on more analytical and operational work, the capabilities that remain distinctly humanโ€”presence, relational intelligence, discernment, and the ability to respond wisely in complex situationsโ€”have become the most important leadership capacities an organization can develop.

“Leadership development works when learning moves beyond frameworks and into lived experience,” said Carey Baker, CEO of Co-Active Training Institute. “With Co-Active, people engage ideas, apply them in real situations, and reflect on what they discover. That is how new ways of thinking and responding become lasting change.”

Co-Active Leadership: Distributed Leadership operates from the premise that leadership capacity exists in every person, regardless of title or role. The course develops participants’ awareness and skill to act on that capacity and to recognize and activate the leadership already present in the people around them.

The course is delivered online across two parts: a three-day opening session, followed by a two-to-four-week application period in which participants bring the learning directly into their work and lives, and then a two-day integration session. Each session is co-led by two experienced Co-Active faculty members.
